I Simply Love Cats and What I Do!
My cat sitting services are primarily based on the quality of time spent with your cat. I don't want to rush
in and rush out as I don't believe that is in all cat's best interests.
Separation anxiety IS an actual thing for some cats plus they love their routine. When you go away a lot of things change for them, your absence, changes to their feeding times, less attention and an unfamiliar face in their territory. This can often cause them to feel stressed which in turn could lead to some behavioural problems.
Nothing is going to make up fully for the fact that you are away, but the more time that is spent reassuring them, giving them affection and playing with them - the more any stressful feelings your cat may have are eased.
On my first visit to your cat/s, I will spend as much time as I can with them so they can get to know me and
vice versa, even if this means I am just sitting on the floor for half an hour whilst they 'assess' me!
I have had quite a few 'scaredy cats' in my years of cat sitting and fostering, beginning to visit them before their humans have gone away has dramatically improved any anxiety or hiding away when the time for you to go away comes.
98% of the cats I look after are repeat bookings, I know the cats and they know me which massively reduces
any anxiety and gives great peace of mind whilst you are away.
Area Covered
The area I cover is determined so that I can effectively manage time between visits and ensure the time with cats is not compromised. Harrogate Traffic and roadworks have a lot to answer for and don't get me started on the pot holes! 😾

Cat Sitting Prices
Prices are revised occasionally in line with demand and inflation, but also primarily, in order to manage World Class Whiskers effectively without compromising on the level of care I give.
My Services differ only with time.
Please book as far ahead as you can for the half hour visits as they get booked up very quickly and do feel free to ask if your cat/s need anything in particular that is not covered above and I will do my best to help.
Every service includes:

Clean food and water bowls each visit.

Fresh water daily.

Litter clean each visit.

Administer medication if required.
-
Play time, hugs, strokes and little treats where appropriate.

Mail brought in.
-
Plants watered.
-
Draw / open curtains.
-
Put bins out / in when necessary.
As with all services, if there are any other things you need doing, just let me know, however, the more time spent on other things equals less time spent with your cats!

An additional charge of £5 per visit will be made on Public Holidays.
